I thought they did away with renewal? When my was getting close to expectation they made me fill everything out again and pay full price. Or a least in Cherokee county they did. They told me everybody goes through full check every 5 years

What county was yours done in the first time? If you move counties, it's a complete, new permit for sure.

Not sure in if you are still in the same county.

Maybe that was it. I wasn't in Cherokee when I got it.

I would call Dawsonvile Gun and Cherokee Gun and pawn, they have smoking prices.  Also check with Adventure Outdoor in Smyrna, they have pretty good prices too and have tons of guns.

Just left Glock. I had night sights installed on the 43

I'll beat a dead horse . If you're going to buy any Glock,  Join gssf for 2 yrs for like 40 bucks or whatever it is and get two gssf coupons.  Buy a g43 for like 50-100 off and have another coupon for another Glock at the same.  Shoot Glock competitions, get Glock swag and mailing too, enter/compete to win free guns at the competitions as well.

I went ahead and got it a few min ago. So I now have a glock 43 as my carry.  I'm excited

I went to the Wilson Shoals WMA range yesterday.  I fired the new to me GDC G23 buy back.  It felt good to have a .40 back in my hands.  Super nice gun for 299 especially since it already has trijicon night sights. 

I also sighted in my Mini 14 and checked the scope and fired my first rounds in the 1906 I got from @Krawler00, it was dead on.

Very nice range, for what it cost.
