Nice!  Now you can be the filling station for everyone on a ride...just get a $5 donation from them...free air for life for you.

I'm always stuck with a tank that is out of cert...I doubt they'll fill those, so I continue to exchange and pay out of the nose.

I don't know if they check.....I bought my tank from Danny a
couple years ago. They've never mention anything all the times
I had it filled. I actually remembered one time to weigh mine
empty so now I can keep a check of how much I have left in it.

My tank was new but Dave was a pretty nice guy and didn't give the tank a 2nd look.


Edumacate me on tank certs.  How long is a cert good for?  How do you get the cert updated?

Edumacate me on tank certs.  How long is a cert good for?  How do you get the cert updated?
Tanks are good for 5yrs then have to be tested,re certified basically.

I read where it costs less than $20.  Shops normally send them out.  I hope that the Smittybuilt kit that I bought hasn't been sitting at Amazon for a year or two.

In the past I've just swapped tanks with every fill.  Got a standard 20 lb tank setup.
