Will, I was thinking about how you are going to fix that D44 part on your new lift to work with an 8.8 and found this at Ruff Stuff Specialties. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/dana-44-differential-ring-p-36.html Thats for a d44, but he sells an 8.8 diff cover http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/ford-88-differential-cover-p-180.html so you could call him up and see if he'd sell you just the ring.

cool, I'm looking. Actually.... I think I might know of a Rubi front 44 with 4.56s... they might be 4.88s. Let me check in the morning and see how low he will go.

Yeah it's out of a 2001 Mountaineer. He said it has all the factory hardware and bracketry on it. limited slip and 3.73s. Sounds good to me. I'll give it a really good look down before I throw it on the truck bed. Thanks again Jimmy. I'll post up some picks tomorrow when I get back. hey Ben, what are you doing tomorrow? I should be passing through Winder around 4 or so.

Will, sorry I did not reply. Went to the super chevy show. Obviously we've talked since then. Sounds like you got a load today! Gotta post up some pics man!

Yep, picked up a lot of stuff today. Got the 8.8 LSD, Warn front bumper from Doug, and the Rock Krawler X-factor suspension with 3 link rear.  ;D

I couldn't have picked up that lift without some more help from Doug. Thanks again man! Karma, karma, karma  :D

And karma for Jimmy too for hooking me up with the axle!  ;)  which is in great shape. One question about th 8.8... What are the wires going into the differential on the top/back of the housing? It came out of a 2001 Mountaineer.

I believe that is for the ABS.  You wont need it.  Just unplug the plug and leave the one part in the diff.
