Ticks

Looks like the mild winter means a really bad bug year. 

We were in the woods at the lake this weekend taking down a few trees and we saw a lot of ticks and all picked up a few.

Yeah we had the dogs out the other day and they already got some...It is going to be rough this year.

My son had one on him last week after playing at a friends house, I was thinking it is kinda early.

I was on the back porch the other day and saw about 10-15 bugs that looked exactly like ticks but they were flying, any clue??

Kudzu bug...Looks like a small brown lady bug...They made the news last yeah saying they weren't sure how they go here or where they came from..They are all over this side of town

I've got pretty heavily around the house, but I also have a kudzu problem in the back corner of my property. Honestly, i'd pick them over the kudzu any day.

Okay, So they aren't harmful at all. Really threw me off when they started flying! lol

Yep they are out in force. Camping in south GA a few weeks ago everyone had at least 1 an we all used bug spray. When we were at chocc I saw them crawling on the outside of the bug net at night. Thank god the bug net pulls closed really tight on the ends or I probably would have been eaten up.

The eggs, meat, and pest control services make them worth it. Nothing else like it.

Meat?  lol.  My girls would never allow that!  haha.

Nothing like fresh farm eggs.  Do you feed them a shell hardener?

We have found a few more very small dead ticks that we believe have fallen off of the dog dead from the stuff we have on her that kills them if they bite her.
