my first visit to this thread...decided on a change of lifestyle i guess back at the end of december.  been eating right, cut way back on beer, and the wife and i decided to set a schedule of 3 nights each a week that we go out walking/jogging after our boys go to bed.  when i started i could barely run a half mile, ran 1.6 today with some hilly stuff and I'm loving it.  I'm even managing to get out more than 3x a week.  I registered for Warrior Dash (google it) in May for some motivation but I think I'm going to do a 5k or two before then.  I feel so much better already, lost a few pounds (although that's not really my goal), and hopefully this is a permanent change, not just some diet.

Good to see you in here!

I just got word I need to do 1.5 mile run in about 2.5 weeks for a tryout so looks like i know what I am doing the next 2 weeks... good news is it is on a track so if I can do it on the street with hills I will be more than fine.

I bought some lipo-6 black yesterday and "jacked" pre-workout. I will let you know how it goes.

Is it a timed run?

Is it a timed run?

It is not but you must "run" the whole time. Then it is followed by sprints, 35 pushups, 35 situps, 5 chinups and fence clearing drills so I need to get into a little better shape so the running doesn't zap my energy

i agree not to bad but enough where I got some work to do. The situps and pushups I believe are a 1 minute limit and I have no clue what "fence clearing" drills will be but I got a good idea of it!

Good stuff, just don't stack your pre-workout stuff to close to your fat-burners. It could elevate your heart rate. BP is good stuff. Just shop around.
