Yep. I see new kitchen cabinets in your future.

I know my soft doors cost me dining room chairs.

All good though, you got to pay to play

Yeah, it more than likely will be new carpet and flooring throughout the house. That's what she is wanting. That is fine with me.

You sure you want to use the winch on this one? You may be able to go bigger if you are trading floors.

lol, I hear you. Yeah, I could probably get another stock cherokee for what the flooring will cost. I need a few other things so I may throw them in with the deal  //;D//

Glad to hear about the winch! You should definitely make this an even trade... sounds like a full suspension lift or exo-cage is in your immediate future. //smoke//

Definitely go with rope whichever winch you buy.

Safety is the number one reason.

If the winch doesn't come with rope then I'd recommend getting rope with a thimble rather than a hook.

Yep, got the synthetic rope winch. Smittybilt 9.5. $427 shipped to my door with a free cover. Regular price was $449 but the web site said "We give deep discounts, just give us a call". So I did and asked them what that was about and the guy said they have some leeway on prices so he knocked off $22.

I was like cool! Should be delivered by Friday.

Winch came today! Now I gotta figure out how to mount it. Can't decide if I want to just buy a winch plate and make it work or modify my bumper to make it fit. Things that make you go hmmm...

From your pic it seems that you just need to drill your bumper with the bolt pattern of the winch?

Just be sure the bumper has more than the stock 3 bolts holding it on each side. If so, it will rip right off.
