Kyle, it looks pretty straight forward from what I have seen (never done it myself though, so this is all an educated guess).
There is a vacuum actuated fork (looks like a shift fork) that slides a collar from the splines of the inner shaft onto the intermediate shaft to lock them together.
You pull the outer/intermediate shaft/unit bearing out the same as with a non-disco housing, pull the vacuum crap off, slide the collar out, take off the c-clip on the inner shaft, and then use a long skinny rod (broom handle?) to push the inner shaft out of the housing. I think there are some extra axle seals between the disco assembly too.
The block off plate is just a simple flat plate bolted on in 4 places and sealed with a ton of RTV....
Oh, and I think you can weld the two piece shaft together to make a super ghetto spare shaft too, lol.
